Need I say more? Perhaps it is not fashionable to pile on Coach Mike Krzyzewski from Duke as everyone else does. Believe ME, though, this little pud is worth the effort! Not only does he cry to the referees, cry to the NCAA, cry to the media, but now he has the chutzpah to bitch about President Obama not picking his team for the final four. I am sure there are tons of people blogging about this today, but it's impossible not to comment on what nonsense goes on in that piece of shit town Durham where he coaches.
For those of you who don't give a shit about basketball, President Obama earlier this week made his choices for who would win the National Collegiate Athletic Association Men's basketball tournament. As you probably have guessed by now, President Obama did not choose Duke to advance very far in the tournament. In fairness to Coach K, all he said what that the President should probably worry more about the economy than picking his brackets. Reading between the lines, however, Coach K was being typical Coach K.
The students who attend Duke are predominantly white, upper-middle class privileged kids who have never wanted for anything in their lives. When something doesn't go their way, they cry like the spoiled brats they are. You know, come to think of it, Coach K is actually the perfect fit for that school.
There have been some GREAT players who have matriculated from Duke in spite of the terrible example Coach K sets for his players. I truly have nothing against the players who play for Duke or who have participated in the program in the past. But this guy is a prick, through and through. You know what, MIKE...maybe you should worry about getting past your first round opponent and stop worrying that the President has "disrespected" your team like EVERYONE else outside of Durham since no one I know has picked Duke to get anywhere near the sweet 16. Face it, Coach, your team isn't that good this year.
